I'm searching for friends and family who knew my parents between 1959-1972 in Rockhampton, Townsville and Brisbane. Both parents are dead and I know nothing of their union or my family in Queensland during that time. My mother was half caste abl from NT and was sent to Cairns originally under the Commonwealth education scheme. While in Qld, she trained as a nurse, did deportment classes with June Daley Watkins, married my dad who went to Vietnam and lived in a flat next to a gay couple. I met my dad 2 times as they didn't get on. I'm desperate for information about this time in my parents life. Pls if anyone can help I would be eternally grateful. ps.
