Born 16th February 1961 in Royal Newcastle Hospital to Barbara June Sams. I have been informed that I was named after my paternal grandmother. My mother at the time of conception was married to a soldier and had 2 baby boys one aged 3 the other aged 1. She met my birthfather while her husband was away from home on basic military training she was only 18-19 yrs old at the time. She moved in with him and he was known by the name of DOEY. My mother passed away in 1988 and left me little to no information to go on except that i share the same blood type as Doey and a longing to know a little about him. Her husband Paul Sams and his brother Keith also knew Doey and they think he may have been from South Australia.
