Date of Birth: 22 July 1972. I was 17 when I gave birth to a baby girl in the royal women`s hospital Paddington. Sydney 1972. I had only arrived in Australia in March 1972. I gave my daughter the name of Melanie Anne. but since then I got some I identifying information saying her name was now Julie and lived with a family who had also adopted a boy. I had written a letter many years ago to Melanie and sent it to the adoption place in Sydney in case she ever tried to find me. I remember being told that Melanie had a hernia operation at 5 months old. My name is Valerie Mitchell and I live in Queensland.I would really love to find her.
